Emmanuel Boateng Comes Off The Bench To Rescue Crucial Point For Levante UD

Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Boateng came off the bench to score a vital equalizer for Levante UD in a 2-2 exciting game at Huesca.

The nimble footed center forward needed just 4 minutes on his arrival from the bench to register a priceless equalizer for Levante at the Estadio El Alcoraz in Spain.

Christian Rivera opened the scoring for the host before Roger Matri restored parity for the inconsistent Levante just after recess to leave the game poised at 1-1.

Xabier Etxeita then restored the one goal lead for Huesca 5 minutes into the second half only for Emmanuel Boateng to deny the host a well deserved win.

Boateng replaced Erick Cabaco on the 70th minute mark and quickly pegged the scores with virtually his first meaningful contribution to the game just 4 minutes on his arriva.

The Ghanaian ended his goal drought in the 2018/19 La Liga season with the crucial strike after a slow start to the current season.
