Erstwhile Asante Kotoko head coach, Steve Pollack, has said he would want non-payment compensation after 2017 accident to be settled in court.
According to Finnish gaffer, all efforts made by his legal team to reach a consensus with Kotoko regarding the payment have proved futile.
In 2017, Asante Kotoko’s team bus engaged in an accident on their return to Kumasi following a 1-0 loss to Inter Allies in Accra.
Steve Pollack who was the head coach and also involved in the tragic occurrence has been demanding accident compensation from the club for four years now.
“I have made attempts to the administration of the club in order to get the money. I even have the text messages on my phone. This new administration also knows about it.”
“We even went to pre-trial for an amicable resolution. In this first meeting, their lawyer did not turn up. In the second trial, a representative from the club came and requested time, since a committee had been set up then over the accident.
“Afterwards they promised to pay, but never did, and it’s being over four years now…We have decided that enough is enough so we are going to court,” he told Accra based Angel FM
