A tactless first half that produced no excitement for the teeming fans who attended the games amidst covid-19, with both sides using the enter half to understudy each other.

Asante Kotoko didn’t seem to have watched their opponent ever before, with the only option of playing on the left wing where they had Imoro Ibrahim, and Fabio Gama.

Allies, Having played more games at the  Accra Sports Stadium seemed to have the antidote to break their hosts back, relying mainly on counter attacking play, hoping one fell in.

It was Kingsley Braye who mainly started the attack on the right, when Imoro and Gama left in search of goals for the porcupine Warriors.

meanwhile both sides cancelled each other in midfield with a 3v3 system, while Asante Kotoko relied on Latif Anabila, Emmaneul Sarkodie, and Naby Keita, Inter Allies planted Desmond Abuga, Richmond Lamptey and Paul Abanga in the midle to deal with any threat that came their way.

With % changes to his side that played against Ashantigold, coach Johnson Smith could not break the back of the youthful Allies side, forcing Striker Kwame Poku to fall deep into midfield in search of supplied.

In-spite of its colorless, Asante Kotoko had some few balls inside the Allies 18 area, but the timely intervention of Ali Isa, and Mohammed Abdul Kadir at the centre of Allies defence.
