Asante Kotoko erstwhile foward Eric Bekoe says the Reds have made the right choice by signing Brazilian Michael Vinicius to replace outgone Kwame Poku.
Kotoko sealed Vinicius signing during the second transfer for two-and-half-years and set to join his teammates for the last lap of the season.
The 27-old-year will replace Kwame who was the club’s highest scorer this season with 8 goals in all competitions.
Poku has signed for Algerian side USM Algiers for €600,000 transfer fee.
Speaking on another Brazilian addition by Kotoko after Fabio Gama, Bekoe backed the management regarding the decision to bring in Vinicius.
“Kotoko have made the perfect signing. If a car has a problem with the engine we don’t buy a tire. Today we have watched videos of the boy(Vinicius). When Gama was coming people said all sort of things. They said he is a carpenter but for me, Fabio Gama is my toast this half-season. Football is played by footballers and it has one language.” He told Prestea based Energy FM
