Exclusive : GFA To Persuade Gyan For World Cup Qualification Play Offs

Ghana Football Association is leaving no stone unturned in the quest to seal qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The country’s highest governing football body inspired a dramatic qualification into the play offs stages and have since intensified preparations for the must win clash slated for March 2022.
As part of plans to boost the Black Stars playing squad for the upcoming ties, a high powered Ghana Football Association is expected to meet Italy based Felix Afena Gyan to rescind his decision and feature for Ghana.
Felix Afena Gyan turned down the chance to feature for Ghana in the double headers involving Ethiopia and South Africa but is set to make a sensational return for the must win tie in March 2022.
Confederation of African Football (CAF) will stage an official draw to pitch the 10 qualified teams into five ties with the winners progressing in to the FIFA World Cup proper.
Ghana marked her FIFA World Cup debut in Germany before following up with successive qualification to the 2010 and 2014 editions in South Africa and Brazil.
The four times African Champions however failed to book their tickets for the Russian mundial in 2018 and are bent on making it to Qatar 2022.
