Exclusive : Hearts Of Oak SC XI For Mantse Derby, Sarpong Starts

Accra Hearts of Oak SC head coach Edward Odoom has been forced to make changes to his preferred starting XI for the Mantse derby at the Accra Sports Stadium later today, Wednesday March 10, 2020.

The Ghanaian trainer is without his midfield Maestro, Fredrick Ansah, for the mid-week clash against Accra Great Olympics FC.

In his place, Edward Odoom has been forced to hand starting spot to Michelle Sarpong in a new adopted 4-4-2 formation.

Richard Attah maintains his place between the sticks whiles Sumaila Larry has been rewarded with a starting berth for his exploits against Inter Allies FC.

Emmanuel Nettey returns to pick his spot at the heart of of midfield alongside Benjamin Afutu for the regional derby.

Umar Manaf and Michelle Sarpong are set to torment opponents from the flanks whiles Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi team up in the attacking department.

The versatile nature of Michelle Sarpong and Umar Manaf will allow the team to switch from 4-4-2 to an attacking quartet of in the final third of the pitch.
