442gh.com can exclusively reveal that officials of FIFA will be in Ghana in the coming weeks to announce a new membership for the GFA normalization committee, with a further extension of mandate.
Our source shows the new deadline for the mandate of the GFA Normalization committee will be end of August when the committee is expected to hand over to a new GFA President, and executive committee.
The shake-up as received by us shows FIFA will change one of the members of the committee, whiles two of the members have shown clear signs of resigning from the committee.
The source says the two members have already tendered in their resignation letters pending the end of their March mandate.
Our investigation also shows the Government through the sports ministry is working closely with FIFA to find replacement for the three members to be affected after March 31.
Our investigation further shows, the government has not been happy with the work of the Dr. Kofi Amoah led committee and is seeking to have its entire membership changed.
