In his quest to lift the club from its slumping position after a poor run of matches in the first round of the domestic league, management head at division one league club Nzema Kotoko Edmund Ackah is set to quit his position in less than 90 days in office.
442gh.com can exclusively report that Mr Edmund Ackah, General manager at Zone two club Nzema Kotoko will lay down his tools after this weekend’s round of matches in the division one league.
The former Asante Kotoko, and Medeama’s DC management member our source say is not happy with the structures at the club, and believes with no long term plan, the club cannot achieve its stated target of qualifying to play in the Ghana Premier league.
“He will leave the job after the last round of matches, he wanted the club to put up structures that will spell out Job description for all staff, but that has not been done since his arrival, its like a one man show, and knowing Ackah, he won’t like to stay in such a club” a source close to Edmund Ackah told this portal.
The Black Stars B team Manager joined the Nzema based club in May for the second round of the league, the club had 13 points from 15 matches, placing 15th in a 16 club league, but his experience has catapulted the side to a top 4 finish.
Mr Ackah our source say will not continue the job when his current deal expires at the end of the season.
The source further stressed that the leadership of the club had made promises to Edmund Ackah prior to accepting to take the job, but that do not seem to materialize hence the latest decision.
