Clubs in the second tier of Ghana Football are eagerly awaiting the 2021 National Division One League fixtures ahead of next month’s season openers.
The zonal championship will see a total of 48 clubs fragmented into three zones of 16 teams competing for three slots in the top flight of Ghana Football.
Having already released fixtures for the Premier league, fans of the game are eagerly awaiting the Ghana FA to officially release the pairings for the National Division One league.
A team of field experts have already begun inspecting pitches across the country with some basic requirement made mandatory across all avenues.
Sources close to 442gh.com hinted that Ghana Football Association have already produced the fixtures for the second tier and will release them officially before the close of work on October 30, 2020.
Pitches without dressing rooms have already been ruled out of considerations ahead of the official release from the Ghana FA.
Clubs in Upper West, Upper East, Northern Region and the Brong Ahafo region make up zone one of the National Division One League with Aduana Stars FC, Bechem United FC, Berekum Chelsea and Techiman Eleven Wonders FC are the four premier league in that zone.
Asante Kotoko SC, King Faisal FC and Ashgold SC are clubs representing zone two where the likes of Bekwai Youth Football Academy New Edubiase FC will be representing clubs in the Division One League.
Winners in each of the three zones qualify to the topflight at the end of the season.
