Accra Great Olympics skipper Gladson Awako is optimistic that his team can win the Premier League if there is fair officiating in their games.
The Dade lads defeated West African Football Academy [WAFA] in an away game on Friday.
With officiating been the much-talked after the matchday 23 games, Awako says bad officiating has really caused them a lot on the road this season and will need a well revised officiating in their upcoming games to be able to challenge for the league title.
“There are still more games to be played because there are soo many games to be played and the league is very competitive,” he said in an interview.
“Olympics have had unfair officiating this season and if things go on fairly we can win the title. Most of the games we have lost away was due to bad officiating,” the U-20 World Cup winner said.
Great Olympics win crashed out WAFA’s 6 years unbeaten home run in the Ghana Premier League.
Great Olympics are currently 2nd on the league log with 40 points, a point behind leaders Asante Kotoko.
Great Olympics will host Aduana Stars in a midweek on matchday 24 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
