Feiles Football Academy took part in a blood donation exercise on Saturday , June 5, 2021.
FEILES FC participated in a blood donation exercise organized by KATE SONNE on her birthday. As part of her birthday celebrations, Mrs Kate S saw the needs of the national blood service and decided to organize this event as part of her contribution towards the availability of blood for the national blood service.
The exercise held at the premises National Blood Service saw 25 members and the Coach of Felies go through the screening.
The main aim of this exercise was to get the players to understand the concept of blood donation and adopt it as a lifestyle.
Kate however praised the players and other staff for taking this bold step and urged them to voluntarily donate blood.
“The first person I want to thank is Leslie Tettey for his immerse love and support for allowing his club to take part in this blood drive.”
“Secondly I want to thank staff and players of Feiles Fc for donating. On behalf on NBS I say God bless them so much and I will be looking forward to seeing them walk in as voluntary donors, she added.
“Also I want thank the NBS leadership and staff for their hardwork and dedication and finally I want to thank all my friends who were there to support, Kate concluded.”
Feiles Academy are also preparing towards a justifying tournament which will be coming up soon.
