FIFA Give Zamalek SC 90 Days To Pay Off Former Ghana Striker Junior Agogo

Federation of International Football Association, FIFA has handed Egyptian side Zamalek a ninety-day ultimatum to pay off debts they owe former Ghana striker Junior Manuel Agogo.

The world football governing body issued the same time ultimatum for the five times Africa Champions last year to settle all debts amounting to $450,000.00 to the former Nottingham Forest striker but failed to settle it.

Zamalek appealed against the ruling of FIFA at the Court of Arbitration for Sports but CAS has given FIFA the go ahead to institute any sanctions they deem fit to Zamalek should they fail to oblige to FIFA.

FIFA has further issued a statement to the club via email to honor the player’s entitlement before 6th March, 2019 and failure to do so will mean points deduction from the club.

“The deadline of 90 days granted to the Zamalek Sporting Club in the decision taken by a member of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee on 6 March 2018 shall start counting as from 31 October, 2018,” FIFA stated.

Junior Agogo scored three times for Zamalek in eleven games.
