Former Arsenal FC midfielder had joined Ghana’s social media space in bashing the current class of Black Stars players after a catastrophic outing at the 2021 AFCON.

A dreadful outing of two defeats and one drawn game saw the four times continental champions popping the table in its worst tournament from 23 appearances.

Retired Ghana international and former Arsenal FC midfielder, Emmanuel Frimpong, has taken the entire Black Stars team to the cleaner for their chocking performance at biennial tourney.

Speaking GTV Sports Plus, Emmanuel Frimpong described the Black Stars ruled out the impact of the red card on the Black Stars in their elimination defeat at the hands of Comoros.

“I don’t want this game to be based on the red card, because even before the card, Black Stars were struggling. Ghana have been poor this tournament and don’t deserve to qualify”, Emmanuel Frimpong said on GTV Sports Plus.

Ghana exited the 2021 AFCON without winning a single match in historically was the worst tournament at the continental level.
