Former Ghana FA Communication Director Ibrahim Saani Daara has ruled himself out of the General Secretary position of the association despite intense media reportage of the ace sports journalist taking up the new post under Kurt ES Okraku.
Ibrahim Saani Daara comes in as a household name in African Sports journalism but has ruled himself out of the new position citing personal reasons and financial short comings of the FA.
In an exclusive interview with Accra based Angel FM, Saani Daara ended any speculations on the medial landscape thank seriously linked him to the General Secretary position of the yet to be constituted Ghana FA.
” I am not interested in the Ghana Football Association General Secretary position for now. Ghana football is a thankless job and besides, they cannot afford to pay me if I should charge them for my services”, Saani Daara told Angel FM in Accra.
The ever smiling sports journalist rose the ranks at BBC and is currently leading the media department of CAF.
