Former Black Stars Winger, Laryea Kingston has revealed he would grab the Black Stars Coaching job with double hands should the opportunity avail itself.
Laryea, now a coaching staff at Right to Dreams Academy told Asempa FM he is currently working to improve upon his coaching techniques, and believes when the right time comes, he would take the job.
“I Played for the National team and feel a part of the team, now am taking my time to prepare myself for the top job, I will be happy to take up the Black Stars job anytime the opportunity presents itself”.
The former Accra Great Olympics, Hearts of Oak player said, many countries are reverting to their former stars to coach their National teams, and believes Ghana should not be any exception.
“Take a look at England, they gave Gareth Southgate the opportunity, ans he is doing well, its also becuase he prepared himself, and am doing just that to put myself in that position”.
Laryea Kingston missed the opportunity to play at the 2006 world cup when he was dropped from the final squad following his suspension from the 2006 AFCON tournament in Egypt
