Former Inter Allies Coach Danijel Mujkanovic has been appointed head Coach of Danish lower-tier side Gørslev IF.
Gørslev IF announced the appointment of the 38-year-old ahead of the new season.
Mujkanovic has been without a Club since leaving the Ghana Premier League side but now takes over from Michael Juul at Gørslev.
“I think it is a small club that is doing something unique. I like their commitment out there. I think they do something right when you can have a small club that has three senior teams that are close to each other. It testifies that the club is getting some players up to a bottom level somehow,” he said.
“I think the club is ambitious and it will see how far it can push it. There are some people who struggle hard to create something that you can not get at the neighboring club.
“This idea of gathering some of the boys from the area license clubs such as FC Roskilde and HB Køge, who have not been good enough to move up in their senior management.
“There you can see if there is any potential, and then you can see what you can develop it for. It appeals to me especially in relation to the fact that I have worked in license clubs for many years and been this last link up to the senior clubs.
“I actually think that I fit in well in terms of profile, and I like that it is not a short-term project, but that you work long-term. I have never ‘cycled’ so much between the clubs, but I have always been in places where I thought the project was interesting, and I certainly think it is here too, so that is the reason for it, says Danijel Mujkanovic , who has signed a three-year contract with Gørslev IF, to LigaBold.dk.
Before joining Gørslev IF, the Coach had previously worked as head Coach for HB Køge U19 side. He later took over at Inter Allies midway this season after fellow Danish trainer Henrik Lehm left the Ghanaian side.
