Former Karela United FC trainer Prosper Nartey has revealed the reason his surprise exit from the Pride and Passion Boys.
The Ghanaian trainer exited his seat as the head coach of Karela United less than four weeks after his appointment by the club’s managerial board.
The young trainer cited difference in philosophy and ideologies as the main setback that ushered him out of the club despite the promising nature of his task.
In an exclusive interview with Cape Coast based Yes FM, The former Karela United gaffer said, “I left Karela United FC because of some misunderstanding. The club wasn’t ready to accept my philosophy, plans and demands.”
Some of the old players performance weren’t convincing to my standard, which some of those old players thought they are seniors and therefore they deserve to be there”
“I will advice club administrator to stop imposing player on coaches and this is because the coach would be blamed when the results are not coming”.
Karela United FC hired and fired Enos Adepa Kwame as their season threatened to end in tears.
Dr. Prosper Nartey is currently head coach of Academy side West African Football Academy based in Sogakofe.
