Former Asante Kotoko trainer Paa Kwesi Fabin is off to Nigeria ahead of an expected move to join top flight side Kano Pillars, Kumasi-based Fox FM has reveal.
The former Ghana U17 head coach who recently ended his love story with the Porcupine Warriors left Kumasi around 10am on Thursday and is expected to arrive in Nigeria by the close of the day.
Fabin, who was set to join an unnamed South African side prior to his departure from Kotoko will finally end up in the Nigeria Professional Football League in the coming days.
Fabin is set to meet management members of the Nigerian side on Friday to examine the contract details of the deal before he joins the club.
The former Hearts and Inter Allies manager is set to sign a two-year deal with the Nigerian top flight side after being satisfied with all the contractual details after examination with his lawyers.
Fabin is noted for his excellence in talent identification and nurturing with his days at Osei Kyeretwi SHS (OKESS), Inter Allies and as head coach of Ghana U 17 side – The Black Starlets.
