GFA Special Competition: General statistics and all the numbers you need to know after week 4

27 – A total of twenty seven matches have been played, Group B, has however played 16 matches compared to the 11 played by Group A
50 – A total of fifty goals have been scored in the competition so far, less than seven goals at this stage last season, Group A has 19 goals, whiles group B has 31 goals
1.85 – The average number of goals per game in total is 1.85, whiles group A has an average of 1.7 goals per game, with group B having average of 1.93.
7- Liberty Professionals are the top scoring club with seven goals in 43 matches, in group A, Asante Kotoko have scored more than any other club with 6 goals in 4 matches
9 – Weakest Defence – Ebusua Dwarfs have the weakest defence in the competition after conceding nine goals in 4 matches, on the other hand, Eleven Wonders have the weakest defence in group A, they have conceded 7 goals so far.
34 – Thirty four different players have scored in the competition so far, Group B has 22 scorers, whiles group A has 12 scorers.
5 – Liberty Professionals and WAFA SC have the highest joint number of scorers with five goals, followed by Bechem United, Asante Kotoko, and Karela United, all with three goal scorers each.
0 – Tight Defence – Elmina Sharks have the best defence in the competition, they have kept 4 clean sheets in their 4 matches, they are the only team not to concede a goal in the competition.
4 – Abdul Fatawu Shafiu of Asante Kotoko leads the top scoring chart in the competition with 4 goals, Effiong Esungusi of Inter Allies follows with 3 goals, and is the top scorer in group B.
4 – Ebusua Dwarfs have conceded in all the 4 matches they have played, they have the weakest defence in the competition.
