Ghana is not focused on Group leaders South Africa, according to Coach Milovan Rajevac.
The Black Stars are currently second in the Group with 9points, 1point beneath South Africa with two games in hand.
Ghana will travel to face Ethiopia in the penultimate Group match with South Africa also taking on Zimbabwe.
A win over Ethiopia will still keep Ghana in the race to grab the only ticket in Group E. Ghana will have a further advantage should South Africa drop points against Zimbabwe.
In as much as many will be keeping an eye on the game between South Africa and Zimbabwe, Rajevac insists they are rather focused on themselves as they look forward to securing maximum points in their final two matches.
“We were monitoring the situation of course but we are thinking primarily of ourselves because everything is in our hands and we depend on ourselves so the moment we win successfully, we don’t focus on the other team.
“We are not concerned about the other result, the matches will be good for us and we can analyse them and see the good and bad points of both teams so these matches will be good for us to analyse and prepare our game plan but we focus on our self and it is a good thing we have everything in our hands.”
The Serbian have recorded back-to-back victories over Zimbabwe in his first two matches on his Black Stars return.
