
The Ghana Football Association has began processes to pay all regional Football Association’s theory first tranche of the FIFA COVID-19 relief funds.
The Football Association has alerted all RFA’s of its readiness to wire the monies to their individual accounts.
The FA has asked their regions to facilitate the payments of the regional clubs whose share would be paid into the RFAs account to be given to its members.
The clubs have also been asked to open accounts which the RFAs will also pay into them.
It would be recalled thst the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), revised the FIFA COVID -19 Relief fund allocations to 48 Division One League clubs and the 72 Regional Women’s Division One League clubs after the initial allocared funds created uproar amongs the clubs.
The revised distribution will now see each of the Regional clubs walking home with ($1,500) each instead of the Eight Hundred and Twenty-one dollars (US$821) earlier announced. The quantum has therefore been adjusted from Sixty Thousand Dollars (US$60,000) to One Hundred and Nine Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars (US$109,500) as earlier communicated.
