The Ghana Football Association has condemned the action of Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko in which both teams fielded 10 players each for the entire first half of their Ghana Premier league week 11 match in Dormaa.
The action of the two teams got Ghanaian soccer fans talking, whiles many have condemned the action, describing it as prehistoric.
Reacting to the incident on Asempa’s Sports nite show with Enoch Worlanyo, President of the Association Kurt Okraku said the FA condemns the action of the teams even before the report of the referee is submitted.
Mr. Okraku amongst other issues stressed the FA was working to improve on the publicity and excitement of the league, and will not countenance on any action that will bring the name of the game into disrepute.
“There’s been so many crazy moments in the League, like what happened yesterday, was one of the crazy moments, and its something that I totally condemn in no uncertain terms abait the fact I have not read the report”.
Mr Okraku expressed his desire to fight hooliganism and acts that were subservient to the Ghana Premier league.
