Ghana FA Congress Slash Affiliation Fees In Lower Tiers, Division II Clubs To Pay GH¢500

Ghana Football Association through its Congress has slashed the suffocating affiliation fees for lower tier clubs by a life changing 50 percent to breathe life into some sinking football clubs across the country.

The country’s highest governing football body previously pegged the affiliation fees for division II clubs and below at a scary one thousand Ghana Cedis leaving many foetal clubs under intensive care unit.

A review at the scary price yielded dividends with Division II clubs now asked to pay GH¢500 whiles Division III clubs will now pay GH¢300 as affiliation at the regional level.

Women’s division One clubs and all juvenile clubs will now pay GH¢200 as their seasonal affiliation fees for the 2019/20 season.

This news will come as life changing tonic for then sinking juvenile clubs as they gear up for the new era of Ghana football.
