Ghana goalkeeper Joe Wollacott and his Swindon team missed out on qualification to the League 1 after losing 6-5 on penalties to Port Vale in the play offs.
The Ghanaian was on the bench as he watched his side suffer a painful defeat to end their hopes of playing the the League 1 next season.
Swindon had won the first leg 1-0 but had to concede in the reverse fixture to put the game go penalty shootouts.
Ellis Landolo’s penalty miss saw Swindon crash out painfully.
After finishing 6th in the season, Swindon had the chance to compete in the playoffs hoping for a chance to secure the only ticket available for League 1 football next season after Forest Green and Exeter secured places.
