Ghana group opponents, Benin, in the ongoing WAFU Zone B U20 Tournament have pulled put of the competition, 442gh.com can confirm.
The western neighbours to Ghana could not turned up for the tournament, forcing their group to be deficient of one team.
Officials of the competition are yet to communicate the cause of their absence but 442gh.com understands that the Benin Ministry of Sports stopped the team from joining the tournament.
Ghana will therefore not play any game on Sunday as their clash with Benin has been cancelled.
The Satellites will have to wait until Wednesday to play their last group game with Nigeria to determine their chances of making it yo the next stage of the tournament.
Nigeria take on Niger at 16:00GMT in a game that will be Niger’s second but Nigeria’s first as their clash with Benin on Friday was cancelled.
