Asante Kotoko and 3 other clubs are the only Ghanaian premier league clubs to satisfy the Ghana FA club licensing requirements with only 8 days to the start of the new football season.
The Porcupine Warriors who secured the services of former WAFA SC coach Dr Prospoer Nartey Ogum, a CAF license A holder also has John Duafo and David Ocloo both CAF license A holders as their lead technical men.
The Club also has Najahu Issah a CAF A licence holder in charge of the goalkeeping department.
A list released by the Ghana Football Association shows only 4 clubs met the full requirements with King Faisal, Medeama SC and Ashantigold the only clubs to meet the licensing requirements for the technical departments of the clubs.
The 14 other clubs have some of their technical members given dispensation for a period of time, while some failed completely to meet the requirements.
Defending Ghana Premier League champions Accra Hearts of Oak has two of their technical men on the FA’s dispensation program, while Accra Great Olympics had both fitness and goalkeepers coach rejected for failure to present the required license.
