Ghana Premier League WK20: Kotoko back to winning ways as they annihilate Bibiani Gold Stars

Ghana Premier League leaders Asante Kotoko returned to winning ways in style as they thumped Bibiani Gold Stars 5-0.
The Week 20 game at the Baba Yara Stadium started on a bright note for Kotoko as they took the lead through George Mfegue.
The Cameroonian striker was quick to capitalize on a mistake by goalkeeper Ernest Kussi and put the ball in an empty net in the 32nd minute.
He got his second on the day after he combined well with his fellow countryman Frank Mbella and he made it 2-0 before the break.
After the recess, Augustine Agyapong made it 3-0 as his shot deflected off a Bibiani Gold Stars defender in the 59th minute and Frank Mbella made it 4-0 from the spot kick in the 80th minute.
The icing was put on the cake in the 86th as substitute Samuel Boateng lifted the ball past the onrushing Ernest Kussi.
This is Kotoko’s biggest win in this year’s Ghana Premier League and they now have 44 points as they lie 1st on the table.
