Ghanaian Football Administrator Joojo Duncan Wants New FA To Have Development Policy For National Teams

President and bank roller of Proud United FC Joojo Duncan wants the new Ghana Football Association administration to set up a development policy for the various national teams.

The highly respected Ghanaian football administrator blamed the haphazard nature of the Ghanaian national teams as the bane of their monumental failure in recent times.

Mr Duncan suggested restructuring at the junior national teams if Ghana is to end its trophy hoodoo on the international platform.

Speaking on the Sport Court platform, Joojo Duncan suggested a new philosophy at the grassroots with the belief that it will trickle down to the senior National Team.

When asked on the way forward for the Black Stars after the catastrophic AFCON, Mr Jojo called for same philosophy across the national teams.

“The problem I see is that there is no development strategy to ANY of our National teams Call ups.

It is haphazard and non integrative. It does not serve as a link to the improvement of our Local Leagues, which is really our asset”, Joojo Duncan opined.

“The call ups does not reflect our National identity and Character… It ends up with simply a bunch of Non Patriotic and Pampered individuals who can not be bother whether we win or lose”

“They are not interested in National Glory but Personal interests.. We need a fresh start with Our National teams and their Foundational Structures that recognizes the role of the Grassroots”, the Proud United FC president added.

Many administrators have called for an adopted strategy across the various national teams that will reflect the identify of our playing formation.

All the major national teams in Ghana failed to excel in their respective categories with the Black Stars sent packing from the 2019 AFCON at the round of 16 stage.
