Ghanaian Shot stopper Nana Bonsu Stars As Enugu Rangers Seal Aiteo FA Cup Final Berth

In-form Ghanaian shot stopper Nana Bonsu extended his recent rich vein of form in Nigeria after inspiring Enugu Rangers to the 2019 Aiteo FA Cup finals.

The Ghanaian import stole the show as the defending champions inched closer to their title defense with a come-back win over Lamrey United.

Enugu Rangers came back from a goal down to down the rampant Lamrey United side to book a final berth against Star Plus on April 28, 2019.

Former Rangers attacker Ebuka Okeke put Lamrey United into a 16th minute after some sustained spell from the NNL side.

Nana Bonsu and his ‘Flying Antelopes’ pegged the scores on the stroke of half time thanks to Issif Traore before Chidera Ezeh blasted home from the spot, 12 minutes to full time.

Enugu Rangers saw their 13 game unbeaten run halted earlier last week but was quick to start another spell with that tight win over Lamrey United.

Nana Bonsu kept the post in 12 of the 13 games unbeaten run enjoyed by Enugu Rangers FC.
