Ghanaian striker Sadat Karim has revealed the ambitious target of Halmstad BK to secure a qualification into the Swedish top flight league, the Allsvenskan, was the key reason for joining the side insisting they are ambitious.
Sadat, 27, completed a two-year deal to the Swedish second tier side Halmstad BK from Landskrona ahead of 2019 season a fortnight ago.
The 27-year-old joined the Yellow and Blue lads as a free agent after passing a mandatory medical on Tuesday.
Following the move, Sadat, in an exclusive interview with 442gh.com has revealed that he joined his new side because of their challenging target of securing a ticket to the Allsvenskan.
“This is a club with a huge target of qualifying for the Allsvenskan next season and I admire their ambition.
“I had a lot of offers from many clubs in the Allsvensakan but I wanted a club that needed me more and Halmstad needed me more and they showed me love,” he said.
He scored 11 goals in 28 appearances for the side in the just-ended season.
