Ghanaian international Alfred Duncan was in red-hot for Italian club Fiorentina as they edge out Serie A favourite AC Milan in a 7-goal thriller on Saturday.
The 28-year old attacking midfielder scored a goal and provided an assist for another to help his side record a famous 4-3 victory over the Roseneris.
Duncan put Fiorentina into the lead early in the first half to set the tone for what seemed an easy evening in Florence.
Riccardo Saponara then doubled the Viola’s lead just before the half time break.
Dusan Vlahovic then increase Fiorentina’s advantage after he was set up by Duncan on the hour mark.
AC Milan responded with a quick brace from striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic before Vlahovic scored his second and Fiorentina’s fourth to put certainty on the score line with 5 minutes left to play.
Defender Lorenzo Venuti scored agaisnt his own goalkeeper deep into injury time to hand Milan a boost but there no much time for a comeback.
Alfred Duncan was substituted in the 90th minute and was replaced by Youssef Maleh.
