GHS Director Of Health Promotion Lauds GFA For Sanctioning Hearts Of Oak

Director for Health Promotion for Ghana Health Service, Dr Dacosta Aboagye has commended the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for taking immediate actions against clubs that breached the COVID-19 protocols.
The FA on Sunday handed Hearts Of Oak a banned which will see the Accra-based side play behind closed doors in their home games, referring the issue to the Disciplinary Committee for further investigations.
The football governing body found the Phobians guilty for not guiding the fans to adhere to the COVID-19 safety precautionary measures in their game against Great Olympics last Saturday.
Reacting to the sanctions, Dr. Dacosta lauded the association.
“The GFA based on the agreement we have with them has issued sanctions for some clubs which I believe it’s good for all of us. It shows they are on top of issues and no one will be exempted if you flaw the rules they will deal with you. I have to applaud them for that.”
