Great Olympics captain Gladson Awako has refused to be drawn into talking about the title after beating Liberty Professionals on Matchday 22 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Wonder Club are having one of the finest seasons in their history as they sit in third, two points behind league leaders Medeama SC.
However, Oly skipper Gladson Awako, speaking to JoySports, said his side will take it on a game by game basis.
“You see how the league is going, you win today, you are at the top. You lose, you are coming down. So we can’t come out now and say that we want to win the league, so we will take it game after game. When we get there and see we have the chance to, we will do that.” Awako said.
The Accra based club have won the league title twice in their history, in 1970 and 1974 respectively.
Olympics have recorded 11 wins out of their 22 matches, scoring 24 goals which is the 8th best goal scoring record. They travel to Sogakope to face WAFA on Matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League
