Ghana Division One League club Golden Kick Sporting Club has officially announced Coach Fiifi Parker Hanson as the club’s new Head Coach after successful negotiations, to take charge of the technical team of the division new comers until the end of the season, with official statement on club’s website.
The swift appointment by the club is to bring fresh new ideas to the club’s technical bench after a torrid start to the Division One League campaign, with the club sitting little in the relegation zone.
The newly appointed head coach will look to steering the club to safety at the end of the season which is the main target of the club as the seek to avoid relegation in their first season playing at this level.
Fiifi Parker Hanson took charge a month ago having led the club in 5 outings, winning 2 games, drawing 1 and losing 2 including the FA Cup Round of 32 encounter with defending champions Hearts of Oak in a crunch tie, as the Premier League club whipped the division one new boys 5-2 to eliminate them from the competition.
The coach who brings in good technical know-how has had experience coaching in the UK, Scotland at some top Pro football club’s where he’s gained lots of more insight to augment his coaching skills and knowledge.
Before being appointed as Head coach of Golden Kick SC, Fiifi Parker Hanson had stayed on as Club President of third tier club Sporting Club Accra, with the club missing out on a promotion play-off spot on a whisker.
Fiifi Parker Hanson will be in the dugout for Golden Kick SC when they take on Kpando Heart of Lions tomorrow at the Dansoman Carl Reindolf Park at 3pm.
