Head Coach of Liberty Professionals, David Ocloo says his team were immature in their 2-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko on Monday.
Two goals by Kwame Poku ensured that the Porcupines see off the Dansoman side at the Accra Sports Stadium on matchday 8.
Ocloo speaking after the game said although his players were ‘inexperienced’, missing two key players played a part in their defeat including their captain George Amoako Essien who has joined Union Sportive de Tataouine.
“It is unfortunate. The inexperience in my boys showed a lot today but I think we will go back and right the wrongs and move forward.”
“I wouldn’t say fear, we have been playing 4-2-3-1 but we lost some players, our two midfielders. We lost one to a yellow card(suspension) and lost one to a Tunisian team this week. So it’s like we changed the system a bit to suit the players we have but it did not work.”
Liberty will hope to make amends as they host Ebusua Dwarfs on match week 9 of the Ghana Premier League.
