Benjamin Bernard Boateng missed the best chance for Elmina Sharks by letting Kotoko off the hook after failing to connect a pass from Stephen Owusu.

Songne Yacouba nearly scored from a screamer with his first touch just after coming off the bench to replace Augustine Okrah but for a wonderful save from Sharks goalkeeper Lord Bawa.
