Defending Champions, Hearts of Oak, will hope to get their 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season back on track when they welcome Aduana Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday November 14, 2021.
The Phobians have had a winless start to the the defense of their tilte, drawing their opening two games- A goalless draw at home to Legon Cities and a 1-1 draw away at WAFA.
With pressure seemingly mounting on the Rainbow boys, a match against Aduana Stars would’ve been a difficult task were it be in previous seasons.
But with the current struggles of the Dormaa Ahenkro based club, perhaps the game has come at the right time for Hearts of Oak, who are in desperate need of a victory on home turf.
Samuel Boadu’s lads will go all out to in order to inflict a second defeat of the season on the Ogya lads who have just a point in their opening two matches.
To do that, the Phobians cope without the services first-choice goalkeeper Richard Attah and left-back Rady Ovuoka who are away on international duty with Ghana and Congo respectively.
The Phobians will also be without team manager WO Tandoh who will be serving a one-game suspension following a sending off agaisnt WAFA last week.
Aduana Stars secured a point in their first away trip of the season at Karela United before surprisingly losing to King faisal at the home last weekend.
The Ogya boys will go into the game into the game with a different level of hunger.
