Right Back- Isaac Kwain (Aduana Stars) Isaac Kwain continues to establish himself as one of Ghana’l Premier league’s best right back with his incredible performance over the years. Playing for his third Premier league side in the last 4 years, Kwain produced quality crosses, and passes that has saved the backline of the Ogya boys, his influence in the Aduana set up is a boost that has seen the Dormaa base side pick 6 points from two games.
Left Back – Suleman Mohammed (Dreams FC) The Ghana Premier league debutant is quickly becoming one of the revered left back in the league after two rounds of Matches. Suleman’s solitary goal ensured the believe boys walked away from the Bono region with maximum points, his overall performance on the day superceded all other left backs, Suleman also combines defensive play with additional attacking role.
Centre Back – Mubaric Yussif (Ashantigold) – Two matches, two goals, two clean sheets for Mubarick’s marshalled defense, the former Liberty Professionals starman has become a solid block at the backnof the miners, his newly identified goal scoring prowess puts him far and above his peers afrer two rounds of competition.
Centre Back – Fuseini Zakaria (Berekum Chelsea) – Rock of the back pf the Chelsea Defence, Zakaria rarely commits errora, his timely clearances saved the Berekum base side from the aggressive looking strikers of Liberty, his command at the back, and superiority in the air is much recognized.
Midfield- Prosper Hiabu (WAFA) – a blockbuster midfield general who controls affairs, and never allows opponents have a taste of the game, Prosper was instrumental in the 2-0 win against Ebusua Dwarfs, his outstanding performance erned him the man of the match accolade.
Midfield Offensive – Ebenezer Ackhabi – Ackhabi was an unnecessary evil in the defence of Accra Hearts of Oak when they visited the Akoon park. The Young attacker was all over the goal area of the phobians, giving incisive passes that caused problems for for the opponents. He capped a fine afternoon with a man of the match reward.
Right Wing – Benjamin Tweneboah (Elmina Sharks) The skillful winger was the brightest spot in the 1 -1 ddaw his side played against Karela United, his dribbles on the lines left defenders gasping for air, he proved too strong on the ball for his opponents, and was instrumental in getting the equalizing goal.
Left Wing – Victorien Adje Adebayor (Inter Allies) – The Nigerien import played a supportive role in getting Inter Allies to become the only Greater Accra Side to pick maximum points in the two week old league.
Striker – Prince Opoku Agyemang (Medeama SC) arguably the best player of the week, Opoku Agyeman tore the Hearts of Oak defence into pieces, running them down the lines, and outwiting them, his two first half goals put the Phobians to sleep.
Support Striker – Songne Yacouba (Asante Kotoko) – The Burkunabe attacker was the difference in his side’s 3-1 demolition of Legon Cities at the Accra Stadium, his double assist, and his power play in taking on defence was a delight to watch. He joins the team of the week
