There was excitement galore at the nine Ghana Premier league centres with Accra Great Olympics picking their first win of the campaign.

Goalkeeper- Richard Attah (Hearts of Oak) – making his second appearance for the Capital club, Richard Attah stood between WAFA and Goal, the stoutly built Goalkeeper covered every space of the post, preventing the maneuvering WAFA lads from causing havoc to the Oak tree.
Right Back – Nicholas Mensah- Experience they say is the best Teacher, and the experience of playing in the league for over 5 seasons was brought to bare by the Central defender, with his background as a left back, Nicholas has risen to become a pillar at the heart of defence, and his two goal line clearance ensured Legon Cities went home with a point against Ashantigold.
Left Back – Andrews Ntim Manu- Manu (WAFA) Mesmerized everyone at the Sogakope Redbull Arena with his skills and excessive talent, his attacking instinct coupled with his defensive abilities made him the toast of fans in the clash against Hearts of Oak.
Central Defence – Ali Quattara – despite Asante Kotoko going down by one man in their clash against Medeama, their attackers led by Songne Yacouba gave the Medeama defence a whole afternoon of tough business and one man that stood to the challenge is Ali Quattara, his timely tackles, and man Marking made him superior to all other players on the day leading to his Man of the match accolade.
Central Defenee – Zakaria Fuseini (Berekum Chelsea) another super performance by the National U23 player, Zakaria made all the headlines when Berekum Chelsea put up a spirited performance to stop high flying Dreams FC, he capped a fantastic afternoon with a goal that separated the two sides.
Midfield – Charles Adu Gyamfi- (King Faisal) Adu Gyamfi powered King Faisal to a two goal lead in Kumasi with his skills, and power, he made all the headlines with his blockade, and controlled the game, Charles dictated the pace of the game, and capped his fine performance with the man of the match award.
Right Wing- Benjamin Tweneboah (Elmina Sharks) – By far the best right winger of the four weeks old league, Tweneboah has superb form to the start of the season with his twist and turns on the line putting defenders on the ground, he was classic in his game against Inter Allies, caping the day with a goal, leading to his side’s win from away.
Left Wing- Victorien Adje Adebayor (Inter Allies) Adebayor has maintained his super form from when he signed for the eleven is to one lads some three seasons ago, he’s always exhibited super performance, with his dribbles, the nimble footed player makes Football difficult for his opponents, and was at his usual best again against Elmina Sharks.
Attacking Midfield- Kwadwo Asamoah (Eleven Wonders) fine player with less talk, Kwadwo Asamoah stole the show in Techiman to end Aduana Star’s unbeaten run in the league, he made life unbearable for the defence of his opponents committing them into several blunders, one of which ended in his side winning a Penalty, which was scored by himself.
Support Striker – Adu Kwabena Prince (Beachem United) – The 16 hear old has taken the league by storm scoring 3 goals in two matches, his two superb goals against King Faisal denied the home side any chance of having their first win in the league , his runs in opponent’s area, and his lack of respect for defenders makes him one of the players to watch in the league.
Striker – Prince Opoku Agyemang-(Medeama SC) – Opoku Agyemang makes goal scoring so easy, and has certainly set his eyes on the goalking title, with 4 goals in 4 matches, the former New Edubiase man is fast establishing himself as one of the league’s big boys.
