Hearts of Oak head coach Kosta Papic says his players did not show enough urgency of winning against Berekum Chelsea on Saturday.
The Rainbow lads picked up a point in their week 10 fixture with Chelsea in a goalless draw at the Golden City Park.
Papic speaking after the game said the poor nature of the pitch affected their playing style. However, it seemed his players were playing for a draw.
“Tactically we chanced how we play because of the grounds. But that is not the factor, it was like my players didn’t want to win this match. I know don’t what is happening but we must talk about it. We must think about it. Looks like they are very happy they played a draw. Which is not good, not correct. We are not like that. If you want to win the league this season, you have to win the matches and this is not the way. Like I said we are going to talk about it.”
“The pitch was a problem. But it was a problem for us and a problem for them which is not any kind of excuse. I am not happy at all.” He said in a post-match monitored by 442gh
Hearts of oak in the meantime have climbed to the second position on the league log following the draw.
