Injured Accra Hearts of Oak SC talismanic midfielder Daniel Kodie has heaped kind words on the club’s bankroller Togbe Afede.
The workaholic midfielder has been sidelined for close to 24 months but was flown out to South Africa for a career saving surgery on his recurrent injury under the financial support from Togbe Afede.
Speaking after his successful surgery, the former Liberty Professional FC ball winner described Togbe’s intervention as career saving.
“I felt my career had come to an abrupt end after that career threatening injury. I am extremely grateful to his Majesty for such a wonderful gesture. The man is really working, let’s all rally support behind him. He will take us to the promise land”, Kodie told Fox 97.9 FM.
Accra Hearts of Oak SC have enjoyed some image changing aroma in recent months after a disappointing spell in the rebuilding process.
