Champion Coach Samuel Boadu will lead a pack of 6 other coaches to attend an international Coaching attachment in Europe after excelling in the Just ended Ghanaian leagues.
The seven including Asante Kotoko coach Mariano Barreto will be the Ghana Premier league representatives for the Ghana FA sponsored coaching attachment.
The other 5 coaches are Champions of the 3 division one league zones who qualified their club’s to the Premier league.
Bibiani Goldstars’ Kobina Amissah, Accra Lion’s Rainer Shaft, RTU’s Tanko Ibrahim Shaibu, Yussif Basigi of Hasaacas Ladies and Nana Adarkwa of Ampem Darkoa Ladies will be attending the attachment program before the new season begins
“Coaches of the two top clubs at the end of the Premier League season will go on coaching attachment outside the shores of Ghana. Same will be applicable to the national Division One League, the top Coach in each of the three zones would also go on attachment outside the shores of Ghana. And for the Women’s Premier League, the top Coach in each of the two zones will also undertake an attachment to enhance their capacity outside the shores of Ghana” Ghana FA President Okraku Announced before the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier league.
Grapevine sources close to 442gh.com indicates the coaches are likely to be in Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium for the training as the Ghana FA has secured a deal with the Etihad based side to train the coahes of the domestic league.
Former Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah took similar attachment in the UK sometime ago, an initiative the Ghana FA seeks to continue into the future.
Samuel Boadu and Mariano Barreto are the first and second best clubs in the Ghanaian top tier after a long season after more than 4 years without active football in Ghana’s domestic front.
