Accra Hearts of Oak have denied media reports suggesting their Sporting Director Kim Grant is not Happy at the club and could be on his way out following what the media believe because of the resignation of CEO, Mark Noonan.
A statement from the club asked all of its supporters to disregardsich media reports, claimingits attemptto cause disaffection in the club.
“The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited wishes to appeal to the general sporting public, especially the team’s followers to disregard all media reports making rounds that the club’s Director of Football and First Team head coach, Kin Grant will not return to the vlubbas the head of the technical team,” the statement read.
The statement also affirmed Kim Grant’s willingness to work with the Phobians.
Kim Statementhowever acknowledged Kim Grant has traveled to the Czech Republic for Holidays, and will return in a week’s time.
“We wish to remind our followers that Kim Grant is committed to the Hearts of Oak project and delighted, and ready to work with the new CEO Frederick Moore whom he has already had productive discussions with to bring success to the club,” the statement added.
This will come as a huge relief to the followers of the club as they recently announced the departure of the CEO Mark Noonan and reports of Kim Grant’s departure would have obviously been a huge blow to them.
Grant has so far played 14 games with just a defeat since taking over the technical department of the club
