Hearts Of Oak Equals 34 Year Old Record After Karela Stalemate

Accra Hearts of Oak have equaled their worst start to a new season after sharing spoils with Karela FC in week four fixture of Ghana’s top-flight league.

The search for the first win of the season still continues for the Phobians following a goalless draw with league leaders Karela.

Although Hearts have a game in hand against Aduana, a two-all draw against Ashgold and a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Inter Allies means Ghana’s oldest club have two points after three matches and as results find themselves in the relegation zone.

The last time the Rainbow club found themselves in a similar situation dates back to 1986, where they picked up two points from their opening three games.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak will travel to Dewu to play Dreams FC in week five on Sunday, December 13, at the Theater of Dreams.

New manager, Kosta Papic would probably take charge of his first Ghana Premier League game in Dewu since 2009.
