Hearts of Oak SC have called on the general public to ignore reports that the club is planning to build a 5,000 seater capacity stadium at the Pobiman Sporting Complex.
Reports were rife across several media outlets that the club has proceeded with plans to build the stadium, adding an artistic impression of the proposed 5000 seater stadium.
The club has however described those reports as only concocted by some media houses and added that the club has made a provision for a mini-stadium that will be used by their junior teams in various competitions, as well as the senior team for their friendlies.
In a statement released by the club and signed by communications manager Kwame Opare Addo, the club revealed that the hostel facility which is scheduled to host the team and staff of the club is nearing completion and encouraged the Phobian faithful to continue supporting the Club as the season reaches its climax.
The Phobians will win the league if they win two of their remaining three matches.
The club is currently three points above their closest rivals Kotoko with a superior head to head record as they prepare to face Dwarfs on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium.
