Defensive trio of Mohammed Alhassan, Konadu Yiadom, Ismail Abdul Ganiu and Razak Kassim, made the list that has three attackers in the top six.

Accra Hearts of Oak SC defensive stalwart, Mohammed Alhassan, made 39 appearances from January to December for the 2021 Ghana Premier league season. The former WAFA SC defender did not score a single goal in the league for the year under review.

Asante Kotoko’s Ismail Abdul Ganiu capped his 39 appearances with five league goals to confirm his class on the local terrain.

Dreams FC’s Agyenim Boateng made the most of 42 appearances with 13 league goals to match.
