Spokesperson for the Ghana FA Normalization Committee Dan Kwaku Yeboah has descended heavily on Black Queens head coach Bashiru Hayford, blaming him for Ghana’s exit from the ongoing Total Women’s AFCON.
To him, Bashiru Hayford must shoulder all the blames for inviting 11 foreign-based players to join the side after spending several months with different players.
In what is hardly seen as Spokespersons blasting the institutions they represent positively, Dan believes that inviting 11 new players into the team with less than 14 days to the start of the tournament was a major reason for Ghana’s shameful performance.
In what could be described as the epitome of the position of the Normalization Committee, Dan argues that the government provided an enabling environment for the team to succeed only for the coach to disappoint.
He spoke on Radio Gold in Accra.
