Hearts of Oak will begin their 2020/21 Ghana premier league season this evening when they take on Ashantigold SC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Phobians season delayed because some players and officials of the club tested positive for the novel coronavirus, leading to the postponement of their opening match against Aduana stars.
The capital-based club have since been cleared to participate in the League following further tests carried out by the Ghana Health Service.
However, Hearts will get their season underway with a game against one of their long-standing rivals, AshantiGold SC at the Accra sports stadium this evening.

In goal post, Richard Attah is expected to keep Richmond Ayi from first-team duties again this season after some spectacular displays between the sticks in the club’s pre-season.
Sumaila Lary and Raddy Ovouka are expected to operate from the right and left full-backs respectively with Mohammed Alhassan who has been viewed as the most reliable centre-back is likely to pair with Nuru Sulley who recently rejoined the club.
In midfield, youngster Michelle Sarpong and Emmanuel Nettey are expected to join Benjamin Afutu who looked back to his best in recent games.
On the flanks, returnee Patrick Razak and Black Satellites captain Barnie Afriyie take their places with Kwadwo Obeng Junior leading the lines in a 4:3:3 formation.
