Chief Executive officer of the Ghana National Petroleum Company, and chairman of the Black Stars Management committee Dr. K.K. Sarpong has dispelled rumours he is interested in the position of GFA President.
Dr. Sarpong whose name has come up on media platforms as interested in the position, says he will never harbour that ambition.
“I can tell you emphatically that I’m not interested in GFA presidency and I can never be interested” Dr Sarpong told Asempa FM.
Dr. K.K. Sarpong further stressed he will be available for any assistance that may be required of him in future.
“I can assist in other ways but not as the president” he said.
This puts to rest the long standing rumour of the former Asante Kotoko CEO putting himself up for the position of GFA President.
