Under-fire Hearts of Oak Head Coach, Samuel Boadu has disclosed that he will not be bothered if the management of the club decide to get rid of him.
The defending Ghana Premier League Champions are yet to record a victory in their first four matches of the 2021-22 season and pressure is mounting on the young trainer to turn the fortunes of the club around.
The Phobians latest outing ended in a disappointing 2-0 defeat against Ashanti Gold SC at the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Samuel Boadu said he does not fear the sack.
“I don’t fear the sack,” the former Medeama SC trainer said.
“Coaches are hired to be fired so if the management thinks there should be a change in technical direction, so be it,” he added.
Hearts of Oak will need to get over their loss in Obuasi when they host Berekum Chelsea on Match Week five of the Ghana Premier League.
Before that, the Phobians will have to sort things out with Algerian side JS Saoura for a place in the Caf Confederation Cup Group Stages.
After Berekum Chelsea on Match Day 5, Buadu and his Hearts of Oak will embark on a trip to Tarkwa to face his former employers Medeama SC before facing arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in Accra a week later.
